Theia: Mobility & Psychiatric Assist. Theia is being trained to provide specialized support that can help Troy navigate daily life with greater safety, confidence, and independence. Through calming interventions, grounding techniques, and task-trained assistance, Theia can help reduce anxiety, provide comfort during overwhelming situations, and encourage emotional regulation.
As a mobility and psychiatric service dog, Theia can also offer stability and support during daily activities, remain by Troy's side in public settings, and provide a consistent source of reassurance through life's challenges. Beyond her trained tasks, Theia's constant companionship can help Troy and his family feel more confident participating in everyday adventures, creating opportunities for greater connection, freedom, and quality of life.
